Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Pixelgate, Chamber of Commerce number 42041049, is established at Le Mairekade 77, 1013 CB Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Privacy questions can be sent to info@pixelgate.nl or +31 6 12 10 33 58.

2. Data processed through the website

For a contact or quotation request, we may process your name, company name, email address, telephone number, chosen division and service, budget indication, preferred start period and project description. The website records that you have read the privacy policy, the displayed version and the time at which you send the request.

The public website uses a functional language-preference cookie to direct a future unlocalised link to the selected language. Administrator sessions use a secure session cookie. No analytics or advertising tracking is implemented in the reviewed application.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use request data to assess your question, contact you and, where appropriate, prepare a quotation. For an ordinary quotation request, the basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement. Where appropriate, we rely on our legitimate interest for security and necessary business communication.

A WhatsApp button only opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. A message is sent only if you choose to send it in WhatsApp. WhatsApp then processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.

4. Access, security and recipients

Only authorised administrators can access quotation data. The application uses access controls, session security, validation and security headers. No security measure can guarantee absolute security.

The website and database operate in a Pixelgate-managed environment with a hosting provider. Where suppliers process personal data for us, appropriate agreements and safeguards must be assessed. Email delivery is disabled in the current configuration.

5. Retention and deletion

No final retention period per data category has been adopted for this draft. Data must not be retained longer than necessary for the purpose collected, legal obligations or the handling of a business relationship.

After a retention schedule is approved, expired requests and related data should be deleted or anonymised in accordance with that schedule, unless a legal exception applies.

6. Your rights and complaints

Where permitted by law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Contact info@pixelgate.nl. We may request information to verify your identity.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. This draft does not limit statutory rights.

7. Changes

This policy becomes final only after substantive and legal approval. A final version must include a version and effective date.
